Is anybody else bidding on this item. I would like it for the museum collection as we don't currently have one.

Nope , not quite sure what these boxes were , Looks like a portable radio case been converted ..,
We’re they reeds/analogue proportional/galloping ghost?
Now if it were a FLC set you’d have a few more bidding including StuartM and myself after it for sure
Hope you get it at a reasonable price

No unfortunately not Robert.. Another will come along I'm sure.
In answer to your question it was a tuned filter set. Same in operation as reeds but more reliable.
