Nice......I did not go for all new chrome as it was just too expensive.
Rather, I cleaned up what was there to the best I could.
Some say it is still an acceptable method of restore and at times, even more desirable to certain people.

Anyhow, short and long of it, sold the bike for what I could get ( cost of restore parts really) as no one wants them over here in Aus.
At least, not prepared to pay for what they might be worth.
Had to get rid of it as Mum and Dad's house with the excellent workspace garage up the back has been sold.
Lot of hard yakka for nothing really........... so some final pics.
