Used to run an electric version - by kyosho IIRC - around the Newbridge circuit in Leicestershire when they first came out. I remember upgrading the bikes with ballraces in the gearbox, electronic speed controller and shimming everything to try to fix the speed wobble that eventually beset the frames...great fun!. It isn't until you have to follow a circuit that you can say you have 'mastered' the steering because just running it up and down the street allowed the bike to turn when it wanted to, not when you needed it to.....adding an i/c adds another level of intricacies to sort out I guess!
You only ever need two tools....WD40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move when it should use the WD40 and if it moves and it shouldn't use the tape.
