Sat on my first bike at an early age.
Photo of me on my dad's bike "somewhere in England" (Grimsby I think) spring 1952 prior to moving to Canada.
My mother said I could not have one.
Drove home on a 197cc Villiers powered Francis Barnett that I had bought for $35.00 when I was 14 - no license & not old enough. She had a fit. Kept it though. Rode it mainly on trails and farm fields as it was completely unsuitable/ unsafe for road use I never had a photo of it, who could afford a camera after spending 35 bucks on a bike!
Have not been without a bike ever since.
My Early biking days...
Born again bikers!
