Talking Pictures TV, on Freeview tonight at 8:15 pm . A filmed in the 60's / 70's I would guess. 15 mins long, should be a laugh.

Good film.The hover train was rather impractical - very expensive track, not much passenger space, and any junctions or passing places along the routes would have been almost impossible.

Also interesting to see the development work going into hovercraft and Concorde - both now obsolete. I know there are still a few hovercraft used by the USA as landing craft and similar, but there was so much optimism for them being used for lots of applications at the time the film was made.

I missed it, but thanks to a link on ModelFlying.co.uk was able to watch it this morning, I think that's the first time I;ve seen a Reeds set in action. Marvellous!
