Thanks Mike...... Yes I once tried the "cliff" at Old Felixstowe but it wasn't up to much. Where can you fly at Bawdsey? :)

I don't know what brand this is....... or how you are supposed to mount it? It looks like a treasure for someone though!

The second is a Babcock compound escapement, not the original lever, the original rudder and elevator levers are made of thin sheet brass. Setup right it can give up and down elevator.

Along with the KK Senator I've long liked very much the Caprice. There's a shop on ebay with the re-release complete kit on offer for only £26.91 with free next day delivery. That has to be fantastic value. The offer ends midnight tonight.

The kit had a good write-up in Sept 2018 Aeromodeller which included info on installing 2 channel RC.

So I have a few future kits in the queue :D :

Aviette Ivinghoe Mk II (partly built)
Goblin
KK Senator
Mercury Swan
and now KK Caprice

Carl,

I can recommend the Aviette Dazzler 30 too, Great single channel rudder only flyer, Mine obviously now has a built up wing, original had foam cored ones.

Ron, was your Dazzler built from a kit and you replaced the foam cored wings with built up? Looks nice. I did a Google search and came across your video for the Dazzler:

Hi Carl

I built it from an old plan that I borrowed. It flew much better than I expected.

Ron.

saw this on ebay - a Mule that looks to have been converted to have 2 toggles (a la reed) for control.
