As I dabble further into our hobby I find I'm doing more involved stuff and I think it's time I had some dedicated gear instead of using my 'gear from the garage' if you know what I mean. I looked at my bench the other day and its started looking like a kind of electronics bench, which was quite pleasing! I hadn't noticed that until the other day and it suddenly struck me and I realised how much fun I've been having tinkering with all the little gizmos that make our lives worth living.
What gear do you knowledgeable chaps consider essential for tinkering with old transmitters etc?
Even something like screwdrivers. I was taking a transmitter apart and the thought struck me that I really should have some proper screwdrivers for electronics. Then I pondered what else I might find useful.
Any ideas or suggestions?
What screwdrivers/gear?
