Any New Zealand members? Tx's "baby sitters"?

Just wondering - do we have any NZ forum members, or any that share our "affliction", in New Zealand? My wife & I are moving there (near Wellington) late January for 12 to 18 months with my work. If there are forum members or fellow enthusiasts there, it would be great to make contact with them.

Since we will be 'travelling light' most of my gear will be staying behind. While in NZ, I was considering loaning some of my retro gear to fellow forum members - I really don't like seeing my gear sit idle, I'd rather see it being used, batteries being cycled and enjoyment being had. So, calling for expressions of interest to babysit (and use) any of the following Tx's:
  • S/C "Super" tx using Martin's great encoder. Model memories, adjustable throws, etc., etc

  • 12ch Reeds Tx (using Phil's Reeduino encoder)
Amigo ll with reeds_1 (2).jpg
  • EK Ranger Single stick Tx - original ex-factory was 3 ch. but this now has Phil's 7 ch. encoder in it

  • 1+1 Tx using Phil's AtTiny encoder

All have Frsky RF modules. You'd pay the insured & registered postage each way. Those in Australia are the easiest to accommodate & postage wouldn't be excessive.

So if anybody is interested, please PM me.

Houston, we are not alone - we have first contact!!

We - wife & I - met up with Brian_Z yesterday. A terrific meet & greet - if nothing else, the world should be a better place now 'cause we solved most of it's problems  . Following the obligatory workshop & hangar "audit", a loose plan was agreed to blow the dust off some aeroplanes, get some S/C gear ready & commit aviation.
