RR Flying "Bedstead Competition

Apologies if this is well know, I've only just come across it.
Just google "HUFTM Flying Bedstead Competition" no quotes or from the BMFA site https://bmfa.org//Class1/cid/29/id/106543
Competition finishes on the 1st Jan 22 so not much time. It's beyond my modelling ability but surely some of you drone experts, Shaun? could give it a go.

The original full size rig was typical of a whole host of bizarre contraptions from the 1950's some of which led to significant aerospace advances and none of which would have seen the light of day in our current risk adverse age.

Although not directly connected to the VSTOL Harrier it did play a big part in it's eventual evolution.

The Harrior was an aircraft that always fascinated me and for a period while still working for BAE at Warton I used to see one flying nearly every day. It was being used to test various systems for the then JSF. At ever flight even us "old sweats" who had been around aircraft since Pontius was a pilot, groan!, would stop to watch. Happy day's
