RDT sketch?

Post by Stew »

Hi all.

Looking in the archive on singlechannel.co.uk, but can't find the sketch for the Digispark RDT encoder.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

Stew.

Do you actually want a radio dethermalizer (RDT) or one that uses a timer, or both? What sort of output to actuate the dethermalizer do you want? I know some use a relay or relatively high current solid state switch to melt a bit of fuse wire, or burn through an elastic band.

If you only want it to work with the radio, you could most likely use a miniature servo directly connected to the receiver to 'pull the pin' - you can get servos four grams or less, so probably no more weight than the Digispark and its associated switch gubbins.

Stew,

The timer sketch that Carl posted some time back may be of use - viewtopic.php?f=41&t=348&hilit=timer

While Carl developed it as a motor timer, substitute a servo for the ESC and...........

Food for thought ;)
