Post by Wavemeter »

Hi Guys

I have acquired two little Diesel engines
One an ED 1.5 and I think valuable as it appears to be an ED ‘Hawk’

The other I cannot decipher

Looks like the green one is an Engel from Germany and also potentially valuable

Correct, the green one is a Rebell Diesel engine, made by FOK in Hungaria and sold in Germany as Rebell by the Engel company.
Available as 1.00ccm, 1.5ccm and 2.5ccm. The green one is the 2.5ccm engine.
See the attached copy of the 1968 Engel catalog page.
