Just started putting together a homemade 10 channel reed transmitter based on Phil's encoder. (Thank You Phil!) I purchased a 10ch Controlaire reed transmitter that was in very sad shape off of eBay. I harvested 5 switchcraft toggles, an on/off toggle and a edgewise panel meter. The case will be made from a BUD #CU-3008-A aluminum enclosure measuring 7 x 5 x 3 (178x127x76).
I plan on adding a buddy box switch as an addition to the Spektrum DM9 module for the RF.
Anyway...the journey begins! Stay tuned!

Re: MY 10 channel reeduino transmitter
Phil,
The tx was missing the back and the front looked like someone sat on it. The antenna was broke in two. No saving it possible. Getting the toggles was the main idea. They are in good working order.

Here's the final result. The aluminum case is wrapped in vinyl. Callie Graphics supplied the decals from my art work. I'm scratch building a Carl Goldberg Sr. Falcon to fly with this setup.
Thanks to all for the help!

Re: MY 10 channel reeduino transmitter
You did a really nice job on the 10 channel Reeduino golden retriever transmitter!
The Sr. Falcon combined with your "new" radio should make a fun package.
For what its worth I have attached a copy of the decal sheet that came with my original Sr. Falcon kit.
I have tried to clean up the yellowing using windows "paint", there may be a few blotches left.

Very nice job there Drigotti.
Love the decals
Ron.
PS, don’t forget to make a box for it, just to finish it off

Here is a picture of my completed scratch built Sr. Falcon. Callie Graphics is making the "decal" for the fin as I type this. Monokote with Cobra 3525/10 swinging an APC 12/6E prop. 4 cell 5,000 mah lipo she weighs 6 1/4 pounds.... EXACTLY the box lid weight.
Just waiting a couple of months for the weather to improve.....

Terrific job Dave on both items - looks like a fabulous combination, enjoy
I have repaired the Controlair case, folded a new back & gathered all the components ready for assembly. I'll make it the subject of a separate thread/post.
