Re: Tobe's Lockdown Project
I'm aware of it and ordered them and that was almost 8 weeks ago but they haven't reach me yet...Singapore Post!(PS you know Franks mini-regulators are 25p each? )
The 3rd slider is an option and available for whatever one like to have there. In this particular set up it's intended to control the rate in my dual pack GG Tx as throttle is sequential via 2 push buttons.
Files for the stick are available to whomever likes to give it a shot, just ask and you will get! The stick is drawn In Solidworks but I can easy convert into parasolid, step and .stl

Re: Tobe's Lockdown Project
The upcoming 1+1 GG will have a customized stick, regular rudder with trim with the addition of a trim slider on the side for throttle which in this days is essential as we are flying mostly electric...motor will not stop as a glow when "hitting" ground prematurely. I have flown with timers but don't feel confident with it.
Just awaiting for proper aluminum sheets so I can cut and bend a suitable case. My intention is to minimize the size of this transmitter that's the reason I'm not using my regular ones which I have already made and is the same I have for my 3+1 GG transmitter.
This transmitter is quite shallow with its depth of 40 mmCheers,

Re: Tobe's Lockdown Project
Transparent PLA (or PETG) might be an option (for the stick assembly part) for those who'd like to show off the internal gubbins to their clubmates. It's not completely transparent, and the textured 3D-printed surfaces distort the view through in any case, but it does allow parts of the internal structure to be seen.

Re: Tobe's Lockdown Project
If you sand it and dope it it will get as transparent it could be
I could however always cut & bend a case in acrylic. 1 mm it should behave almost like aluminum with some after heat to normalize
If i could hold of some it could be worth a try.
You sure got a point there.
Otherwise I'm mostly in favor in turquoise or purple
