Does anyone have the documentation with schematic diagrams?
I'm looking for the receiver. It's the version with the 74LS73s decoder, not the BRY 39 s
I could draw up the diagram from the PC board, but its mighty hard discerning the types and values of components...

Re: Remcon Quantum Six?
Had a look but I only have the info for the discrete version.
Attached are the scans for the Remcon Electronika 2000 Rx; this was a kit built 8 channel (IC Decoder) set for the Dutch market.
They may be similar very similar to the Quantum 6 Rc with the IC decoder so of some use.
Cheers

Re: Remcon Quantum Six?
I think all the later Remcon receivers were similar, so what Shaun has already posted is probably the same. But here is the magazine article from the slightly earlier Strato 4+2 in case the Strato is "more similar" to your Rx. The only circuit diagram I have for the Quantum 6 has all-discrete components.

Great!
Undoubtedly, this brings me closer.
This is the Mark III.
I was looking for the Mark II, that essentially was a Q6 receiver, me thinking that would be more familiar in the UK......
Myself, back in 1969/70 I made the Mark I, my first reliable RC set and it still works....
Meanwhile the shop has long gone, probably even before I emigrated from Amsterdam.
And that's almost 40 years ago, go figure....

Re: Remcon Quantum Six?
And that would possibly be the right one, as I copied the 74LS decoder design and made it fit my MK I.Mike_K wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 19:00 I think all the later Remcon receivers were similar, so what Shaun has already posted is probably the same. There was no need at all changing the LF circuitry, it worked from scratch....
Input was a 7413, double Schmitt Trigger, that must have been rather un critical.
Even more reason to believe the version with the BRY 39s had the same detector/ LF circuit.
So please, could you publish that all-discrete components one as well?

Once I've found them, I'll scan and post - I thought I'd previously scanned them for Shaun, but can't find them anywhere on my PC.

Found them.
I'd sent them to Shaun as raw jpg scans zipped together, I was looking for a pdf. I've pdf'd the Tx and Rx build articles from Radio Modeller together, I think the circuit diagrams are just about legible.

Re: Remcon Quantum Six?
Yess! Thank you.
Closer again....
The Mk II has a 7413 double schmitt trigger for puls shaper, so I'll have alook where that fits in the picture, but this is a great help for starters.
