Walton-on-the-Naze, in Essex, is in East Anglia, and is a nice place to slope soar, in an easterly. Here's me flying there, last year.

Maybe we could try some of the Leek and Moorland club's sites - they've got good hills for all wind directions, and are, perhaps, not too far for most people to travel.

Unfortunately the slopehunter site appears no longer to be maintained but does still identify many sites and their users where latest information might be obtained. NB the comment about 'rules' changes that may have been imposed since 2016
