So this is what happened
You remember that I wanted something that would pack down to fit in a rucksack whilst on holiday in the Apennines - and still have room for lunch, waterproofs, jumper etc
Also that likely to be hot and thermic with very light winds
Decided on max dimension of the carboard box (as had one from Amazon) as 40 cm
Big enough to make a reasonable glider but small enough to pack
I took a walking pole and allowed myself to rubber band a 4 mm square carbon fibre boom
Rest of glider made from depron, packing tape and a few 3d printed bits
