Wow! That's a rarity! Crystal controlled too, from the looks of it. Most UK single channels transmitters of that era weren't!
I remember Mick Wilshere telling me about tuning up an old valve carrier-wave Tx in his garage and watching his neighbour across the road getting up and slapping his TV every time Mick keyed it!

Lovely looking transmitter! Now you need to find the matching "Magic Carpet" receiver...
